The Iberian subsidiary of Axis Communications is one of the major players in the Hall 10 de SECURITY 2014, presiding over the entrance to it and celebrating with the introduction of new products and network video solutions innovation in its fifteenth anniversary in this market, and thirty of the Swedish multinational.

The nineteenth edition of SICUR has a special meaning for the Swedish multinational Axis Communications, that celebrates thirty years of activity in the network video market and fifteen of its subsidiary in the Iberian market.

No wonder that this year the stand (D02) Company in Hall 10 IFEMA is not only larger (170 M2), but chairing the entrance on the aisle. In this space and with five of its partners, the company has deployed more than a hundred chambers its wide range of network video, to which they are exposed in other stand of its business partners and in one of the vehicles of the security forces are added.

In this sense, developments of the company in this contest are the new models recently renewed range of PTZ in Q604X series, new models of the M30 series aimed at SMEs, and latest AXIS Q1931 thermal camera.

As already reported Digital AV Magazine, at Axis Communications booth may know the solutions of five of its application developers, as Ganetec Global Solutions, Herta Security, Look at me, Netcamara and Missing.

The Axis Q60 consist of series models Company Q6042/-E/-C/-S, Extended D1 resolution and 36 increases optical zoom; Q6044 /- E /-C /-S, HDTV 720p resolution (1,3MP) Optical Zoom 30 increases, and cameras Q6045/-E/-C/-S, with full HD resolution (1080p, 2MP) Optical Zoom 20 increases, to provide network video surveillance solutions suited to any environment.

In this sense, one aspect to note is that the Q60-S models have a stainless steel pressurized with nitrogen, that resists the corrosive effects of sea water or chemicals, making them ideal for surveillance and remote monitoring in water environments, miners, oil and gas platforms, and in areas of medical manufacturing sectors, chemical, pharmaceutical and food.

Axis Sicur 2014 NewsQ60 The new cameras are equipped with a powerful CPU (central processing unit) and a coprocessor, which allows for better picture quality, with less noise, sharper and more efficient H.264 compression profile.

Other highlights are fixed cameras Q1614 and AXIS Q1614-E, the first one chosen by the organization SICUR 2014 Gallery of new products, since it allows the identification of people and objects in difficult lighting conditions thanks to technology Lightfinder.

One of his innovations, is that these cameras capture fast movements in detail with double the usual frames, with images with HDTV 720p resolution 50 from 60 frames per second, Conventional double the maximum speed. This ensures the capture of fast movements in detail for, for example, objects in an industrial production line can be easily identified.

Thanks to the Wide Dynamic Range technology (WDR) to capture dynamic Axis, these cameras can handle complex scenes with high contrast lighting, as when sunlight creates very bright areas and very dark other, offering homogeneous images to identify people and objects.

Q1614/-E also incorporate technology Lightfider, providing optimal and efficient operation of the camera in extreme low light conditions with color images, an important element for proper identification.
