Scati designs a comprehensive security solution for BBVA Banco Provincial de Venezuela
Scati Labs, company focused on offering its clients comprehensive CCTV solutions in multisector environments, has provided a complete security solution to the corporate headquarters of BBVA Provincial in Venezuela, one of the country's main private financial institutions that is part of the BBVA Group, from where more than 300 workshops, 1000 ATMs and three unique facilities distributed throughout the Venezuelan territory are managed.
Scati, manufacturer specializing in the design of comprehensive solutions for the efficient control and supervision of large video recorder parks and unique buildings, has equipped the corporate headquarters of BBVA Banco Provincial in Venezuela with a comprehensive CCTV system, located in the Provincial Financial Center of Caracas, the fifth tallest skyscraper in the country.
The solution to protect the main headquarters of the BBVA group in Venezuela consists of more than 20 IP Scati Vision video recorders capable of recording over 700 installed cameras, IP and analog, with storage that allows capturing images at maximum quality. From the control center of the Financial Center, multiple CCTV systems from three other unique facilities are managed, 300 bank branches and over 1.000 ATMs distributed throughout Venezuela. On the other hand, these video recorders are managed from three Scati Watcher management stations that have hardware redundancy, ubicados en el centro de control del edificio y con apoyo desde la CGA (Centro de Gestión Avanzado).
The project also includes the design and installation of a dedicated fiber optic network, with redundancy between control centers through a 20GLAN backbone and a state-of-the-art network infrastructure that maximizes the CCTV system's performance, guarantee video availability and future growth.
Hybrid solution
Advanced Systems Ibersegur, specialists in the integration of security systems tailored for banking and large perimeter facilities in the energy sector have carried out the design, and engineering, and the installation of the project's security systems in addition to providing technical training to the operators. Ángel Cano, General Director of Ibersegur, has explained: The hybrid video management solution provided by Scati allows a gradual migration to an IP system, using the existing cameras without oversizing the recording equipment, as is usually the case in these situations, managing IP and analog cameras simultaneously. On the other hand, this solution offers great integration capabilities with other building systems such as access control and intrusion detection, making it easier to manage security from a single control center.
For your part, Alberto Pérez, VP of Sales at Scati, has pointed: For Scati, it is essential to work on designing a comprehensive solution together with the end client and the systems integrator in order to meet our client's requirements.. Ibersegur's role has been fundamental in the installation of this project, as it has carried out both the integration of all the security subsystems and their installation.
