D-Link showcases the latest in Cloud technology with a roadshow across Spain and Portugal

D-Link, global provider of networking and communications solutions for consumers and businesses, is going to carry out a new edition of its channel event tour, under the title 'On D-Road'12', a roadshow that will focus on showcasing its novelties and explaining to its partners how to improve their customers' connectivity, reserving time to explain its IP video surveillance solutions and demonstrate the functioning of the free applications mydlink lite and D-ViewCam Mobile.

The company D-Link has announced the details of the itinerant event 'On D-Road'12', a new edition of its annual roadshow, con el que el fabricante presentará a su canal de distribución y partners las apuestas más recientes para el mercado de soluciones de conectividad: Switching, Wireless, 3G, Storage, Seguridad y Videovigilancia IP. La ronda de eventos comenzará en la ciudad portuguesa de Oporto, el día 6 November, para luego desplazarse a España con eventos en Valencia, el día 15, Sevilla, el día 20, Bilbao, el día 22, para finalizar en Barcelona, el día 27 del mismo mes de noviembre. This year, D-Link se centrará en temas como los servicios para la nube mydlink Cloud Services, y cómo esta tecnología pone a disposición de los usuarios una “nube personal” siempre accesible desde smartphones y tablets con aplicaciones gratuitas para interactuar, con una funcionalidad sin límites, con dispositivos como cámaras de videovigilancia, routers y unidades de disco en red (NAS).

Los eventos contarán también con apartados específicos sobre Switching, con la presentación de las soluciones más recientes y una demo técnica sobre gestión de tráfico de vídeo, redundancia y seguridad; sobre Wireless, centrado en la gestión simplificada de las redes inalámbricas, con una demo sobre gestión remota de entornos con usuarios masivos; y sobre Almacenamiento, donde se analizarán las últimas soluciones NAS y SAN, se presentará el nuevo microsite dedicado a este segmento (www.almacenamientodlink.es) y se llevará a cabo una demo técnica con diferentes escenarios para la PYME, así como dos nuevas apps para smartphones y tablets: mydlink access and mydlink cloud.

Finally, the events will conclude with a presentation dedicated to another of D-Link's key technologies: IP video surveillance. After the presentation 'Make the Most of Global IP Solutions', a demo of the free mydlink lite and D-ViewCam Mobile applications will be held.

As in previous years, in addition to the interest of the event's content, D-Link will encourage the events by raffling various products among all attendees, such as the Mobile Cloud Companion Wireless Extender (DIR-505).
