Axis launches the new series of waterproof cabinets for AXIS T98A-VE video surveillance

The AXIS T98A-VE series of weatherproof cabinets for video surveillance has been designed for electrical safety and to allow step-by-step installation by incorporating a compartment that accommodates multiple accessories and is made of a material that withstands extreme weather conditions and protects against impacts and vandalism.

Easy to install

The AXIS T98-VE series of weatherproof cabinets for video surveillance incorporates a mounting plate that simplifies installation and protects associated cabling. For greater efficiency and savings, the internal compartment has a DIN rail that can be divided into two sections: one to house the main power supply units, and another section for other components that do not need to be installed by a certified electrician.

These weatherproof cabinets offer an IP66 protection rating, which makes them resistant to dust and direct water jets from any direction. They also offer IK-10 protection against impacts and vandalism. There is also an optional electrical safety kit that includes a surge suppressor, a fuse and a door alarm switch that allows detecting if acts of intrusion or vandalism have occurred.

The AXIS T98A-VE series of weatherproof cabinets for video surveillance, to offer greater flexibility, consists of four models depending on whether it accompanies or incorporates a fixed camera, a fixed dome, una cámara domo PTZ, o se usa como unidad independiente.
