AXIS Q87-E, nueva cámara de red dual para instalaciones críticas

Axis Communications, IT company that offers network video solutions for professional installations, has presented the new AXIS Q87-E camera series, dual thermal/HDTV cameras that allow the detection, recognition and identification of people, animals and objects in applications that require video surveillance 24 hours of the day, such as critical infrastructures, urban surveillance, etc.

Axis has launched a series of dual IP cameras prepared for outdoor use and designed for critical infrastructures. These cameras offer the flexibility of horizontal and vertical movement and simultaneous video sequences from thermal and visual cameras, and allow detection, recognition and identification from a single unit even in complex lighting conditions and in complete darkness. By combining thermal and visual images, these cameras represent a very powerful video surveillance solution that makes them ideal for monitoring 24/7 of, For example, restricted areas, public zones, buildings and/or ports.

We believe that this new series of AXIS Q87-E IP cameras represents a very advanced video surveillance solution that perfectly synchronizes horizontal and vertical movements. It offers exceptional capabilities for detection, recognition and identification of objects and people even in low light conditions or adverse weather conditions.

An AXIS Q87-E network camera is composed of a thermal camera and an HDTV camera mounted on a positioning motor that allows the entire unit to move horizontally and vertically, and that are connected to the network using an Ethernet cable. The AXIS Q87-E Series consists of two models: AXIS Q8721-E which incorporates a 1080i HDTV camera with optical zoom of 10 magnification and autofocus, and a thermal camera with 384 resolution×288. The AXIS Q8722-E offers the same HDTV camera but incorporates a thermal camera with VGA resolution (640×480). The thermal camera can achieve greater detection accuracy than the HDTV camera in total darkness or under adverse weather conditions. High-definition camera images allow better identification possibilities. At night the HDTV camera benefits from optional IR illuminators that cover a range of 100 metros.

Critical area video surveillance

Cada cámara incorpora una ranura para tarjetas de memoria SD/SDHC que permite almacenar las grabaciones dentro de la unidad. Los modelos AXIS Q87-E pueden moverse horizontalmente 360º sin fin, y verticalmente entre +45º y -20º, con una precisión de 0,02º en las posiciones predefinidas. Estos productos tienen la clasificación IP66 y operan en un rango de temperaturas que va desde los -30 ºC a los +45 ºC.

Las cámaras de red de la Serie AXIS Q87-E están soportadas por la mayor base de aplicaciones de software de gestión de vídeo de la industria a través del Programa de Partners Desarrolladores de Aplicaciones de Axis, así como por AXIS Camera Station. Además estas cámaras tienen soporte a la Plataforma de Aplicaciones de AXIS (ACAP) para una sencilla integración de sistemas y para que los desarrolladores de aplicaciones puedan incorporar a las cámaras capacidades inteligentes adicionales.
