IBD Global integra en su portfolio Sentry (IntelexVision): analítica de vídeo con IA

The agreement reached by IBD Global for the distribution of pro solutions IntelexVision in Spain is realized with the arrival of Sentry, a video monitoring platform that benefits from AI to improve operational performance in video surveillance tasks.

After several years developing video analytics, IntelexVision has detected that, in it 95% from the recorded video nothing interesting happens, so, classifying all elements of the scene at all times, has high processing requirements and provides little value. Sentry it focuses on that 5% relevant, providing all the information of relevance so that operators can take precise action in real time.

Unlike other video analytics platforms, according to IntelexVision, Sentry dissociates the detection and classification processes, which allows much more flexible and hybrid architectures, with lower hardware consumption. It does so by benefiting from AI processes which provide large-scale efficiency: in this way, each operator can monitor 'up to' 800 cameras”.

Sentry comes with a multiple-use license that covers different detection needs: from intrusions and vandalism, up to compliance with the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), smoke and fire, fights, weapons, use cases related to vehicles or mobility. This proposal is complemented by unusual behavior analytics processes (UB), which uses an unsupervised self-learning algorithm which is capable of detecting anomalous movements in a scene and escalating the classified event.

In addition, se integra con las principales plataformas VMS/PSIM del mercado como Xprotect of Milestone, así como con cámaras Dahua y sistemas de control de accesos.

Aurora: IA con lenguaje visual para Sentry

Sentry llega acompañado de Aurora, un asistente de lenguaje visual impulsado por IA que añade una visión holística de la escena dirigida a minimizar la incertidumbre, reducir las falsas alarmas y ofrecer una respuesta rápida y precisa.

La IA ayuda a los operadores a interpretar casos de uso complejos, respondiendo a preguntas en lenguaje natural. For example: “¿Ese trabajador en altura lleva puesto el arnés de seguridad, he is connected to the lifeline?”, “That crowd approaching, is it peaceful or violent?” o “Is the truck load well distributed?”.
