Dahua Technology collaborates with Dogwatch Sanctuary Trust by providing a CCTV solution to improve security in their 'Variety Shop', a key center for fundraising.

This allows the charity to allocate more resources to the care and adoption of dogs, rather than to infrastructure. The initiative improves both security and operational efficiency, while supporting Dogwatch's mission.

Dogwatch Sanctuary Trust is a registered charity based in Canterbury, Nueva Zelanda, dedicated to the rescue, care, and rehoming of dogs that have been abandoned in kennels or surrendered by individuals. Founded in 1982, Dogwatch operates without government or local council funding, relying instead on donations, actividades de recaudación de fondos y el apoyo de unos 80 voluntarios. To support this mission, Dahua generously provided a video surveillance solution to help improve the security of Dogwatch's Variety Shop. The solution consists of two cameras DH-IPC-HDW3649H-AS-PV-ANZ-S2, cuatro cámaras DH-IPC-HDW3667EM-S-IL-ANZ and a network video recorder DHI-NVR4108HS-8P-4KS3.

The enhanced CCTV system significantly increases security y improves the management efficiency of Dogwatch. By reinforcing security in its variety store, the solution helps protect a key fundraising location that supports the charity's daily operations. This allows Dogwatch to focus more of its resources on what matters most: caring for the dogs, supporting volunteers and helping animals find loving homes.

Matt Maclean, business development director at ADT Security, asegura que “supporting Dogwatch with a creative security solution was an easy decision, since the charity's funds are better spent on caring for the dogs than on infrastructure. The project was completed with the support of Dahua and its local partner Clear Digital, which helped keep the dogs, the Dogwatch staff, and volunteers safer”.
