Dahua Cloud Servicejpg

Dahua Technology updates its AirShield smart alarm system, incorporating improvements in cloud services, video verification, device interconnection and integration with third-party platforms. This evolution aims to meet the new needs of installers, alarm receiving centers (CRA) and end users, simplifying the management of systems and optimizing operational costs.

The convergence between alarm systems, video surveillance and access control continues to accelerate in the electronic security sector. In this context, Dahua Technology has carried out a profound update of its AirShield platform, aimed at improving operational efficiency and the integration of the different elements that make up a modern security ecosystem.

The new version of AirShield is based on four fundamental pillars: cloud services, video verification, interconnection between systems and integration with third-party platforms. The goal is to overcome some of the limitations associated with traditional alarm systems through the use of cloud technologies and centralized management tools.

One of the main advances is found in the evolution of cloud services, which allow devices to be managed and configurations to be made remotely without the need for travel or specific physical tools.

For installers, the platform facilitates remote configuration and diagnostics from mobile applications, reducing maintenance times and on-site interventions. End users, for his part, they can control the system from any location, receive real-time notifications and manage alarms centrally, video surveillance, video intercoms and access control from a single interface. Alarm receiving centers also benefit from new tools designed to speed up the onboarding of customers and devices, simplifying configuration and reducing the technical complexity associated with system integration.

Faster and more reliable video verification

Visual verification of alarms has become a key tool to reduce false alarms and speed up incident response.

This convergence allows users to access images associated with alarm events directly from system logs, improving verification and response processes. Besides, only clips linked to incidents are transmitted, reducing bandwidth consumption and enhancing privacy protection.

This integration can also result in lower implementation costs for installers and operators, by reducing the need for independent infrastructures and platforms for video management.

Greater interoperability with third-party platforms

The AirShield update also incorporates new integration options aimed at alarm receiving centers and developers.
