Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (ALE) ha lanzado el plugin OmniSwitch para conseguir una integración con el software Milestone XProtect Video Management Software (VMS).

• Camera status visibility: Ability to see the operational status of video surveillance at a glance along with power consumption via Ethernet (PoE) and the maximum available PoE power.
• Remote testing and troubleshooting: Test the status of individual cameras with a single click, with the option to reset them, si es necesario. Ensure power to critical devices under any circumstances with PoE priority set per camera.
• Rapid information retrieval: Obtain real-time information about the network switch and its status, including model, version, IP address, location, PoE consumption and temperature.
• Alarm manager: Forward the event to the alarm manager for proactive problem resolution with OmniSwitch.
