Dahua provides access control and capacity management to Conad supermarkets

The Italian subsidiary of Dahua has deployed its access control system, with crowd management and temperature measurement functions, in the supermarket chain Conad, one of the largest in Italy.

With the aim of creating a safer and more comfortable space for customers and employees to prevent infections, the supermarket chain Conad, one of the most important in Italy, has selected the temperature and crowd control solution from the security manufacturer Dahua Technology.

Through the Italian subsidiary and We Tech, Dahua's distributor in this country, two access control terminals ASI7213X-V1-T1 with temperature control and mask detection functionalities have been installed in one of the Conad supermarkets (one at the main entrance of the building and another at the pharmacy entrance).

These terminals, with artificial intelligence technology (IA), automatically control body temperature to allow the entry of customers who do not exceed the limit established in health regulations and are wearing a mask.

In case a high temperature is detected in a person or they are not wearing a mask, an alarm with sound is activated to alert store personnel, in addition to sending an instant notification.

The store's capacity control is managed with the installation of two cameras IPC-HDW5541TM-AS, each with a resolution of 5 megapixels, artificial intelligence and people counting technology, together with a network recorder NVR5208-8P-4KS2-V2.

Las cámaras se han instalado en la entrada y salida de la tienda para realizar un control y conteo de personas en tiempo real de los clientes que tiene en ese momento el establecimiento, según el número de personas previamente establecido para estar en su interior.

Una vez alcanzado dicho límite, el sistema evita cualquier otro acceso mostrando los datos exactos de aforo máximo en los monitores de alta definición LM24-F211 de 24″, situados en la entrada de la tienda, así como un mensaje de que han de esperar fuera.

Besides, un grabador de ocho canales e igual número de puertos PoE integra la operativa de todo el sistema y gestiona los datos de las transmisiones de los dispositivos instalados y la funcionalidad del conteo de personas de las cámaras.

Además de estas funciones, los terminales para el control de acceso de Dahua también permiten desbloquear la puerta mediante reconocimiento facial, a través de una tarjeta de empleado, con contraseña o con una combinación de dichas opciones para permitir el acceso a una zona restringida como puede ser el almacén, lo que reduce los hurtos y pérdidas de material.

Las cámaras IP con funcionalidad de conteo instaladas en estos supermercados también proporcionan protección perimetral, analítica de vídeo y una videovigilancia completa, incluso bajo condiciones lumínicas extremas.
