To this end,, in the Copa del Rey match, Cardassar-Atlético, a capacity control solution was installed, to know the number of attendees, and a thermographic system, that ensured the use of a mask and allowed to monitor body temperature.

The past 16 December was held, in the Es Moleter countryside of Mallorca, the first round match of Copa del Rey, who faced Cardassar and Atletico. An encounter that hosted more than 300 Followers, and in which the thermal devices of Dahua Technology, installed by Altaico Security distributed by By Demes Group, to keep security.

blankIn order to carry out an event with the maximum guarantees, Altaico implemented a capacity control system at the main entrance, to know at all times the number of attendees and ensure compliance with the maximum capacity established by the Law.

Also, a system was put in place that ensured the use of mask by attendees and the monitoring of body temperature, with approximate accuracy of ±0.3 oC. For this was installed a thermal imaging camera and another blackbody

Already at the entry point of the players, the solution consisted of an access control terminal, with mask detection and fever detection, with precision of the ±0.5 oC.

The body temperature control system operated in an automated manner throughout the event and people were able to access the venue fluently. The performance of the installed solution showed greater reliability than manual counting, supervised at all times by the civil guard, who used it to get his own references.

At last, were made 386 measurements and it was found that one hundred percent of attendees wearing masks. A permitted capacity was reached 95% and a single positive was detected, caused by factors outside of fever, that's why, after a second recognition, got a correct reading.

Temperature measurement

To ensure as accurate a reading as possible, the body temperature measurement system was composed of the TPC-BF5421T thermal imaging camera, next to a blackbody, placed in the field of view. This provided a constant and accurate temperature reference.

The other devices used were the HDBW5241E-ZE people counting camera, NVR NVR5216-8P-I and DSS Express Unified Element Management System.

This same solution would allow for more monitoring 5.000 people at a time of 30 Minutes, without direct contact with the person. These figures are a long way from what we could get from manual monitoring, that would require several hours for the same number of attendees.

The camera simultaneously offered a high-resolution visible image next to the thermal image, identifying separately the temperature of each attendee. In addition, Dahua's Dahua-designed AI algorithm, recognized human figures and properly separated them from other nearby heat sources that could generate false alarms.
