Dahua Technology opens its subsidiary in Iberia as part of the expansion strategy

El fabricante chino de soluciones de videovigilancia continúa su expansión internacional, con más de cincuenta oficinas locales en el mundo desde las que ofrece soporte técnico, soluciones de consultoría y servicio postventa.

La nueva filial de Iberia de Dahua Technology, ubicada en Madrid para ser el centro de operaciones para los mercados de España y Portugal, se enmarca en la estrategia de expansión de la compañía, con la apertura de oficinas locales en diferentes países, y de diversificación tecnológica.

In this last aspect, la compañía ha señalado que continuará “explorando nuevas oportunidades emergentes basadas en tecnologías de vídeo IoT y estableciendo negocios en visión artificial, sistemas de videoconferencia, drones profesionales, placas electrónicas, RFID and robotics, among others.

Besides, the Chinese company will have a local team of experts in its Iberian subsidiary to provide pre-sales support, technical and after-sales inquiries, for both customers and partners.

As Alex Liu has pointed out, country manager of Dahua Iberia, 'the market is becoming increasingly diversified and requires smarter and better-adapted solutions. The opening of this new subsidiary represents a key opportunity that allows us to offer better support to our customers and partners, as well as to better understand the specific needs of the market'.

As part of its globalization strategy, Dahua bets on the creation of an efficient intercultural management system, through the creation of localized teams that add value to the activities carried out in the countries where it is present. Globalization and localization are two aspects that this manufacturer focuses on to offer better service in all the locations where it is present.

From 2010, Dahua Technology invests around 10% of its annual revenues in R&D and has created five research institutes on advanced technology, big data, chips and network security. In addition, there is a large postdoctoral research center, it functions as a certified business technology center and has joint laboratories with UL and SGS.
