The Chinese manufacturer of video surveillance solutions continues its international expansion, with more than fifty local offices in the world from which it offers technical support, consulting solutions and after-sales service.

Dahua Iberia

Iberia's new subsidiary of Dahua Technology, located in Madrid to be the center of operations for the markets of Spain and Portugal, is part of the company's expansion strategy, with the opening of local offices in different countries, and technological diversification.

In the latter respect, the company has indicated that it will continue to "explore new emerging opportunities based on IoT video technologies and establish businesses in artificial vision, videoconferencing systems, professional drones, electronic boards, RFDI and robotics, among others".

In addition, the Chinese company will have a local team of experts in its Iberian subsidiary to provide pre-sales assistance, technical and after-sales consultations, for both customers and partners.

As Alex Liu has pointed out, country manager of Dahua Iberia, "the market is becoming more and more diversified and requires smarter and better adapted solutions. The opening of this new subsidiary implies a key opportunity that allows us to offer better support to our customers and partners, as well as a better understanding of the specific needs of the market".

As part of its globalization strategy, Dahua is committed to the creation of an efficient intercultural management system, through the creation of localized teams that provide added value to the activities developed in the countries where it is present. Globalization and localization are two aspects for which this manufacturer bets to offer a better service in all the locations in which it is present.

From 2010, Dahua Technology invests around the 10% of its annual R&D revenues and has set up five research institutes on advanced technology, big data, chips and network security. To this is added a large postdoctoral research center, functions as a certified enterprise technology hub and has joint labs with UL and SGS.
