For sure 2018 will provide an environment for security analysis and debate
Organized in collaboration with associations and entities that represent professionals and users in the world of security, For sure 2018 will be held around 20 technical sessions that will provide the fair with content of great informative and educational interest.
Organized by IFEMA, Sicur 2018 will be held between 20 and the 23 February at the Madrid Fair and, as in previous editions, will become the platform for analysis and debate on everything that happens around the comprehensive security sector through Foro Sicur.
A varied and complete program of activities has been organized for this forum., composed of 20 technical days, that will be offered to professionals who visit the IFEMA pavilions, the opportunity to delve deeper into current issues in this sector, know trends, regulatory changes and best practices from experts in each subject.
Organized in collaboration with associations and entities that represent professionals and users in the world of security, Sicur Forum will provide the event with content of great informative and educational interest, that for four days will place security in the focus of professional and social attention.
In this event, topics especially focused on occupational safety will be discussed., fire prevention and the world of emergencies, and in the context of security, aspects of public and private security will be addressed.
Security
Sicur Forum will bring together a series of technical conferences like the one organized CNPIC on “The implementation of the critical infrastructure protection system at a strategic and operational level” in which the sectoral strategic plans for Food and Urban Transport will be presented, and we will talk about the challenges in terms of cybersecurity for this year.
For your part, AES y Approach will develop a session on “Quality and critical infrastructures: approach from a necessary and urgent new private security regulation”.
There will also be a series of sessions focused on sharing experiences such as the one organized by the Madrid City Council, “A success story: World Pride Madrid 2017” Aimed at cities where festivals or mass events are organized.
The work of Asis International in the protection of an archaeological site and “the work of the Madrid Municipal Police in European Projects (H2020). Lsie and Letscrowd Project”.
Besides, local police association, Unijepol has organized two events in Sicur: a convention of canine and police units and animal protection, and the national meeting of police women.
Work Safety and Emergencies
In the field of Labor Safety, The conferences will come from the hand of Asepal, Aespla, AWESOME Anepa, BLADE, Aspren, Mapre Foundation and INNSBT.
Asepal will also hold a series of workshops aimed at preventionists.
Also in relation to occupational safety, Sicur will incorporate the new Demo PRL activity, organized with the collaboration of Ademi that will show live the particularities of use of the different individual and collective protection equipment.
As for the world of emergencies, The Fuego Foundation has organized a day on “Security in historical heritage, artistic and cultural” and another on the evacuation of people with disabilities, titled “The challenge of accessible evacuation”.

In reference to the world of fire prevention and protection Tecnifuego/Aespi and Cepreven, They will offer different sessions.
Sicur Cyber
As a novelty and in collaboration with ISMS Forum, the active network of organizations and experts committed to Information Security in Spain, is presented this year, Sicur Cyber, a space dedicated to analyzing and discussing cybersecurity risks and threats.
The program will be presented organized in thematic days throughout the four days of Sicur: “Cyber Day” to talk about cybersecurity in the digital transformation of the company; “Data Protection Day” dedicated to the New European Data Protection Regulation; “Cloud, Mobility and IoT day” que tratará sobre los retos de seguridad en la nube, access and identities and the security of the Internet of things, y “Awareness Day”, aimed at raising user awareness of online threats.
