The first thermal cameras from this manufacturer generate automatic temperature alarms thanks to thermal radiometry, to execute automatic events based on absolute temperatures, between -40 and +550°C, which helps prevent fires.

Mobotix thermal radiometry

The megapixel camera manufacturer Mobotix has introduced new thermal cameras that integrate a new type of thermal measurement technology to execute automatic events based on absolute temperatures (between -40 and +550°C), which allows generating automatic alarms defined by temperature limits or ranges, something crucial when detecting potential fires or heat sources.

Besides, This technology has also been incorporated as the S15 PT-Mount sensor head.

The two S15 thermal modules can be configured as a dual thermal system for more flexible use or as an ideal combination of thermal and optical technology to ensure more reliable detection and visual verification results at the same time.

These new releases will help prevent further damage in forests, industrial and commercial facilities, manufacturing and logistics, recycling, etc. Besides, Mobotix provides a free software update in order to upgrade existing thermal cameras with spot thermal measurement in the center of the image.
