Mobotix renews its MxManagementCenter video management software with powerful functionalities

The manufacturer has completely renewed its video management software MxManagementCenter, taking a step further to position it as an intelligent control and configuration center for all Mobotix components and third-party devices.

Among the latest announcements made by Mobotix with new decentralized network security camera and sensor solutions (more information at Digital Security Magazine), the completely renewed video management software MxManagementCenter stands out (MxMC), which offers the user an intuitive and graphical interface, as well as powerful functionalities.

As Jesús Garzón emphasized during his presentation, 'with MxMC we mark a new milestone in video management'. We have taken a further step to turn it into an intelligent control and configuration center for all Mobotix systems, that are automatically detected on the network, and also for third-party systems.

Among other news, MxMC offers three display modes: Grid, Graphic, and Info with a simple mouse click, so that the user can choose between full-screen mode, on multiple screens, and transparent view of alarm and event messages, as well as intelligent virtual PTZ views. It also integrates the recently developed Power Player technology, which provides high-speed searches and fast results for the last twenty-five camera events.

In line with Mobotix's decentralized solutions strategy, MxMC is included for free with the cameras from this manufacturer, without license or update costs, nor restriction by user or number of cameras. It has a perfect design for use in combination with our cameras so that customers get the best from the decentralized concept.

A unique feature of this renewed software is flexible bandwidth management, which makes it possible to search for live or recorded image quality, even over mobile networks and also remotely, with limited bandwidth. The use of a MicroSD card as a buffer, with the improvement in playback and speed allows almost immediate access, hasta dieciséis veces más rápido que antes”, matiza Federico Gutiérrez, technical project manager at Mobotix AG.

Mobotix también ha mejorado MxAnalytics, su sistema de análisis de vídeo que integra en todas sus cámaras de una lente, con el que el usuario puede recopilar datos estadísticos de comportamiento acerca de personas y objetos mediante la definición de zonas de reconocimiento (imágenes en vivo o un área parcial) y el recuento de pasillos sin necesidad de ningún hardware o software adicional.

This system, especialmente indicado para entornos minoristas que quieran beneficiarse de su sistema de seguridad con elementos de marketing, se puede activar o desactivar manualmente en función de una señal o con arreglo a un horario. Los resultados se guardan en la cámara cada quince minutos.
