Infinias and Milestone join their technologies to create a unified access control environment

With the XProtect ACM module, The Infinias Intelli-M Access program adds access control functionality to the Milestone XProtect Smart Client software, creating a fully integrated solution.

Infinias, company represented in Spain by IPtv, has announced the integration of Intelli-M Access software with video management software (VMS) Milestone XProtect Control Module (ACM) to provide a unified environment for access control and video monitoring.

'Video verification in access control events can provide essential information when delivering the best response and speeding up incident resolution,', explains Trine Voss, Head of Solution Partner Program at Milestone Systems.

Among the new features are opening and closing, momentary opening and door control from the Milestone XProtect interface and event viewing in access zones, including information on people and vehicles.

Intelli-M Access is IP-based, which is one of the main reasons for this collaboration with Milestone. The integration helps increase speed and efficiency in incident investigation and video verification. The capabilities of XProtect ACM are the best we have seen and, therefore, develop a unified monitoring environment, notes Wayne Jared, president of Infinias.

This integration extension is available for those Intelli-M Access customers who have the Professional or Corporate version.
