Stanley Security will take SICUR 2014 your EyeLock biometric access control system
Precisely, the Stanley Security EyeLock access control system has been selected by the SICUR jury 2014 to occupy a prominent place in its New Products Gallery, a space created within the fair that recognizes the development work, research and innovation of manufacturers in the security sector.
EyeLock is an access control solution that, through biometric recognition of the ocular iris, allows staff access to certain areas of the facility. It provides real-time identification, both on the move and at a distance, thus replacing traditional authentication systems using cards and providing a high degree of security in access to any physical space.
One of its main features is the precision of EyeLock, with a low error rate in checking and verifying user information, eliminating any possibility of fraudulent access, in addition to minimizing security risk by replacing data registration on a card with that obtained from the iris.
Data management and updating is carried out automatically, and allows the creation of a secure environment for its users.
Apparently, a traditional access control system may seem less expensive than an iris biometric recognition system, however, the low costs derived from the ease of installation, management and maintenance of EyeLock generate significant savings for the client in the medium term.
Other novelties from Stanley Security at SICUR 2014 are the EAS anti-theft system, which combines security gates with special tags that are attached to merchandise for theft prevention in the retail sector; as well as the eVideo Cloud solution, which allows monitoring of risk areas of the facility through image management hosted in 'the cloud', and AeroScout, a device for asset and personnel tracking using WiFi technology.
