Banco Popular's new headquarters in Madrid has relied on Vaelsys ViFence Analytics' intelligent video analysis system to improve security at the perimeter of its facility.

Banco Popular, the fifth largest financial institution in Spain, has opened its new headquarters in Madrid, with a total area of 11.000 m2, in which they work daily 1.600 Employees. With this dimension, perimeter security and access control has been a priority element of the new facility.

The technology chosen was ViFence Analytics, an intelligent video system from the Spanish software company Vaelsys that speeds up the reaction to events by detecting suspicious people and objects on the perimeter by analyzing images from the thermal cameras installed at the headquarters.

ViFence Analytics has been integrated into the Foxter comprehensive corporate building security control system, developed by the Spanish manufacturer Bytech, responsible for access control, CCTV and intrusion at Banco Popular headquarters.

Vaelsys ViFence AnalyticsThis integrated solution allows you to configure the time schedule to adapt the intelligent video analysis to the opening and closing times of the venue. This is a security system on alert 24×7 with automatic event detection.

One of the advantages of ViFence Analytics is that performing high-quality recording per event reduces video search times and storage needs, so there is no need to delete information, no level of detail.
