Lancom y Mobotix desarrollan videovigilancia IP sobre redes de telefonía móvil

Lancom presentará en el stand de Mobotix en CeBIT una combinación de la cámara exterior M24 y el nuevo router UMTS/3G OAP-3G, una solución que se integra de forma segura en la red de la empresa a través de un túnel VPN sobre telefonía móvil UMTS/3G.

Mobotix, proveedor de soluciones completas para vídeo IP de alta resolución, y los especialistas en redes Lancom Systems cooperarán en proyectos conjuntos bajo el paraguas del programa de partners LANstrategy.

The results of this close collaboration can already be seen at CeBIT, where both companies will showcase a combination of the Mobotix IP M24 outdoor camera and the new Lancom UMTS/3G OAP-3G outdoor router. This is an efficient and cost-effective solution to address video surveillance of public spaces, events or locations remote from some companies' premises. This system integrates securely into the company's network through a VPN tunnel over the UMTS/3G mobile network. This means that the network-supported surveillance infrastructure no longer depends on conventional networks, telephone lines or Internet connections.

The camera's internal memory, combined with Web access, provides instant visibility over remote areas, even for mobile operators. Power supply to the camera is provided via the OAP-3G, which in turn can operate through various power sources, including solar panels or mini wind generators.
