Sony Present, ifsec fair 2012, your new IPELA Hybrid solutions, consisting of five Z-series cameras, including fixed cameras, PTZ and minidome models in combination with their receiving units. Altogether, Sony's new products offer a wide range of surveillance applications, especially for upgrades of installation-based analog systems with coaxial wiring.

The new Z-series represents a new category of security that goes beyond existing analog cameras and network cameras, offers the industry's first cameras capable of simultaneously transmitting, analog SD images and IP images in HD resolution on a coaxial cable. Hybrid technology also exceeds Ethernet specifications in relation to the distance the video signal reaches, that allows 300 meters of cable and works virtually without image degradation, thanks to this there is no need for other appliances that require costly infrastructure improvements.

The IPELA Hybrid line of introduction solutions include cameras and receivers that cover the most common security applications and are suitable for ad-hoc replacements of analog cameras, or to make strategic improvements to an analog CCTV system. Z-Series cameras take on the versatility and extensive set of features of Sony IP cameras and combined with receiving units, make these features available in a coaxial cable infrastructure.

The new line of IPELA Hybrid solutions consists of: the SNC-ZB550 still camera that delivers HD resolution images (1280×1024); SNC-ZM550/551 HD minidomes; SNC-ZP550/ZR550 motion robotic cameras; and the SNCA-ZX104 and SNCA-ZP104 receivers that work to 4 Z-series cameras.

Technology designed for specific market segments

For its part, IPELA Engine provides the industry's greatest image clarity and, for the first time, offers dynamic range of 130 dB in Full HD at 30 frames/second, which dramatically increases the quality. This is especially important in environments with strong light contrasts such as enclosure entrances and loading docks. IPELA Engine integrates four unique technologies: View-DR, High Frame Rate, DEPA Advanced and XDNR, What, combined with the Exmor CMOS image sensor, provide such high levels of performance.

Benefits of the Partner Program

At the Sony Professional booth at IFSEC (J10 at the Hall 4), the firm will also showcase many other next-generation products, in addition to enabling different areas of application for retail distribution, urban transport and surveillance, as well as technological areas dedicated to image quality, intelligence and ease of installation.

Sony will also create a special area for the video surveillance partner program, which has been specially designed to provide competitive advantages to installers.
