Sony miniaturiza el LiDAR: así es el nuevo AS-DT1
El LiDAR AS-DT1, depth sensor of Sony aimed at applications such as drones or autonomous mobile systems, offers resolution, compatibility with long distances and ease of integration in a miniature, very lightweight size.
The new LiDAR depth sensor in miniature, ya disponible, is among the smallest and lightest in the world, with dimensions of just 29 mm x 29 mm x 31 mm, not including protrusions, and weighs only around 46 g. housed in a compact and robust aluminum casing, the AS-DT1 is designed to integrate into larger solutions, including autonomous mobile robots y guided vehicles; inspection drones, y otras advanced detection platforms.
Equipped with LiDAR of direct time-of-flight technology (dToF) and a patented single-photon avalanche diode sensor (SPAD), the AS-DT1 offers a medición de distancia tridimensional rápida y de alta precisión, adaptándose fácilmente a objetos de bajo contraste y baja reflectividad. Su amplio alcance de medición alcanza hasta 40 metros en interiores y 20 metros en exteriores en condiciones de mucha luz, lo que “garantiza un rendimiento fiable en entornos variables”, apunta la propia Sony.
