Hikvision obtains two international cybersecurity certifications

Granted by Veritas desk, ETSI international certifications in 303 645 and in 18031 that has just achieved Hikvision guarantee the normative update and protection in their IoT and video surveillance products.

The ETSI certification in 303 645 with which now Hikvision It is a European standard focused on IoT devices security, and that validates them with international standards in terms of Privacy and data protection.

The second hikision certification – IN 18031 – has been developed by the Joint Technical Committee CEN- Cenelec JTC 13, Working Group 8 (Wg8), Specialized in cybersecurity and data protection. The main objective of this standard is to reinforce the capacity of radio equipment to Protect safety, The networks, privacy and financial assets against common threats Cybersecurity.

Both certifications have been granted by Veritas desk, An inspection organization, Third Party Test and Certification worldwide.

Besides, Hikvision has established a collaboration with the laboratory Dryness, Headquarters in the Netherlands, to advance together in international cooperation regarding certifications related to standards in 303 645, IN 18031 to IEC 62443.

This collaboration focuses on Product Security Development Processes, The standardization of the requirements in this sense of IoT devices and the guarantee of data protection in radio equipment, Thanks to which Hikvision wants to continue improving its smart security systems.

Taking advantage of his technical experience and knowledge in Iot is, Hikvision has expanded its smart applications, In addition to developing cybersecurity technologies recognized by the industry security market and contributing to the development of a safe ecosystem.
