El evento Hikvision Village que se está celebrando en Madrid pone en valor la estrategia del fabricante de ir más allá de los sistemas de CCTV y ser un proveedor convergente e integral de soluciones AV, IoT, analítica de datos y más, como subraya Jorge Sepúlveda, director de marketing de la filial ibérica.

Más allá de la seguridad y sus diez años en el mercado ibérico como fabricante de sistemas de seguridad, ¿Hikvision Village materializa su presentación en la industria como ‘total solution provider’, como se definen en este momento?

Sí, podría decirse así. En cuanto al mercado ibérico se refiere, es el primer evento propio en el que llevamos nuestras soluciones de display, y en el que mostramos nuestro potencial tecnológico en CCTV, intrusion, robótica, audiovisual, verticales,… con soluciones que convergen y desarrollos conjuntos con partners.

En Hikvision Village confluyen estos días todos los grupos de interés de la industria, en el que el objetivo es aprender y escuchar para dar la mejor respuesta tecnológica y de valor.

Con esta propuesta de valor tan completa, versátil y, a la vez, convergente, ¿cuáles son las primeras impresiones del evento, que tras dos intensos días finaliza hoy en Madrid? ¿Hikvision Village permanecerá como una cita de referencia con la industria?

Las primeras impresiones son muy, muy positivas. We have more than 1.200 inscritos y tanto las ponencias en el teatro, como los talleres y el showroom son un éxito. Hikvision Village has been created as an annual presence event with the market and open to the main growing and innovative trends and demands, like digital cities, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, connected spaces, critical infrastructures…

We have also had a very good response from companies of all kinds and professionals from the Portuguese market, as well as from distributors and wholesalers. Sin duda, Hikvision Village is a unique and distinctive event.

Regarding trends and developments in the security environment, what solutions are being shown these days?

Hikvision's offering is very varied and convergent, with our CCTV solutions, access control, intercoms and alarms that integrate easily and quickly into our Hik-Connect platform, which allows controlling all security devices in a centralized and intuitive way, and from our partners who also sponsor the event.

Highlight, sin duda, the development of joint solutions from our security and audiovisual portfolio, and with third parties in numerous verticals, where we have already carried out successful projects.

Which strategic areas would you highlight in this regard?

A strategic environment for Hikvision is hospital security and elderly care in nursing homes, For example. We have radars that detect if a fall occurs in bed, the user's heart rate, behavior analysis,... functions that are integrated into the security camera, which offers added value with real-time tracking that is not intrusive in your daily life.

In the logistics area we also have significant developments with automation using robots, that move pallets with artificial intelligence technology; as well as advances in specific data analytics, in cooperation with our partners, for verticals and control rooms.

A fundamental element in Hikvision to carry out this comprehensive, unique, and convergent proposal, is the investment in R&D&i, to which nearly a 30% of the investment is dedicated and in which more than 25.000 employees from a workforce of 70.000 personas.
