Optimus shows the advantages of its intercoms for refuge areas

The GT system of Aiphone and the EP-405H and EP-44SIPH intercoms are some of the solutions for Optimus equipping the refuge areas specified by the Building Technical Code (CTE) for fire safety and evacuation.

Complying with the regulations established by the Building Technical Code (CTE) in its Basic Document on fire safety, which establishes the need to enable refuge areas for evacuation, where it is mandatory to include a ‘visual and auditory’ intercom to request assistance.

Optimus has solutions to equip these areas and comply with the regulations. The three most used are the kits made up of elements of the GT series from the Japanese multinational Aiphone; as well as their intercoms from the SMC and SIP range.

The solution for refuge areas proposed with the GT series includes all the necessary equipment: intercom, control station, control electronics and power supply.

With a robust design, the intercom has pictograms indicating a call in progress and communication, as well as an audio message to indicate the call status. The control station features screen, keyboard and telephone. It is an expandable system that allows managing up to sixteen refuge zones and is also available in a color video version.
