Hikvision convierte a Vialia-Vigo en un centro comercial de referencia en seguridad

La infraestructura, designed and coordinated by Ingecom, includes more than 500 cameras Hikvision, an innovative parking guidance system and business intelligence solutions.

Hikvision has provided the devices and technology that have made the Vialia Vigo Station shopping center one of the most advanced in Spain in terms of security and customer experience.

The developer Nhood has been responsible for the construction of this shopping center, based on a modern and bright architecture. Being built on a transport hub (trains, bus, coches) and having become a focal point for city leisure, thousands of people pass through it every day. This required having a reliable and effective security system, and also perfectly integrated.

The first major challenge was to achieve complete video surveillance for a large shopping center, without leaving blind spots, beyond the reach of the cameras. And at the same time, that these cameras were integrated into the environment, so that they were not intrusive.

Video technology was also needed to make the shopping center parking lot one of the most comfortable and efficient for users and for the managers themselves. It was necessary to have equipment to facilitate guiding vehicles to free spaces, and also to allow users to locate their cars after a day of shopping, since it is not always easy to remember where we parked.

Another requirement was to have data, statistics and attendance analytics: most frequented areas, preferred hours and days, customer profiles, access points and routes… The installation of cameras with artificial intelligence made it possible to carry out a project of this nature.

Comprehensive solution

The solution, designed and coordinated by the integrator Ingecom Sistemas, includes more than 500 Hikvision cameras, used to provide maximum security, an innovative parking guidance system and business intelligence solutions.

The word that defines this project is versatility. We have developed a solution that has been customized according to the client's needs and that showcases the potential Hikvision has in the retail sector, explains José Antonio Torralba, Sales Area Manager of Hikvision.

Regarding security, the shopping center has 200 cámaras de Hikvision(105 DS-2CD2726G2-IZS, 43 DS-2DE5232W-AE, 60 DS-2CD2626G2-IZS y 13 DS-2DE7232IW-AE) que ejercen una función de video surveillance muy precisa y que abarcan todos los espacios del recinto.

Todas las imágenes quedan recogidas en nueve grabadores DS-7732NI-I4, lo que ayuda a saber en todo momento qué ha ocurrido en cualquier punto del centro comercial. La precisión y la calidad de imagen ha ayudado incluso a la policía a esclarecer incidentes y hechos delictivos.

Incluye subsistemas CCTV, Intercom, reconocimiento facial para el acceso a áreas restringidas, people counting y bodycams.

La infraestructura también cuenta con una solución de videoportero, que permite que cualquier usuario se ponga en contacto con el equipo de seguridad del centro de control. In total, se han instalado 16 in tercomunicadores DS-KB8113-IME1, que se han ubicado en las zonas de refugio de emergencias y en los diferentes locales cuyo acceso se controla desde el centro de control.

Besides, para acceder a zonas restringidas —centro de control, workshops, vestuarios— donde sólo pueden entrar empleados registrados, se han instalado dispositivos de reconocimiento facial (seis cámaras DS-K1T341AMF), uno de los sistemas de control de acceso biométrico más avanzados que existen en el mercado.

El segundo pilar de la instalación es el guiado de parking. El interior del aparcamiento cuenta con cerca de 300 cámaras que conforman un sistema de guiado muy eficiente: el usuario sigue las indicaciones hacia donde hay plazas libres sin necesidad de dar vueltas innecesarias.

Besides, The license plate recognition system allows vehicle tracking inside the parking lot, so that when the user returns to pick up the car after a day of leisure and shopping, there are screens that help them locate it just by entering the license plate number.

The shopping center also has a subsystem used for counting people, which allows knowing the occupancy level, peak hours, most used access areas, etcetera. This information is very important for managing resources and the necessary staff at any given time within the facility. For this, eight iDS-2CD7126G0-IZS cameras and seven iDS-2CD7186G0-IZS cameras have been installed, además de cuatro iDS-2CD7A86G0-IZHS y dos NVR iDS-7716NXI-I4.

Todos esta infraestructura de seguridad se gestiona desde una sala de control (donde se encuentran los sistemas bdycam DS-MDS003/2T/8), equipada con monitores y consolas, que permiten elegir imágenes, mover cámaras, registrar y buscar eventos, etcetera. Desde esa sala se garantiza el control y la seguridad de todo lo que ocurre en el centro comercial.

Business Intelligence

Finally, el business intelligence es el otro gran diferencial para los gestores del centro comercial.

La inteligencia artificial que incorporan las cámaras ofrece todo tipo de información analítica, que ayuda a tomar decisiones relacionadas con el ámbito comercial y de marketing, y que permiten mejorar la propuesta de valor en función del número de clientes, su tipología, las horas del día, etcetera.

Todos los sistemas se manejan de forma unificada desde la plataforma Hikcentral, que es la que proporciona una completa convergencia a la solución.
