Hikvision Introduces New Solar-Powered ColorVu Cameras

Designed to operate in isolated or inaccessible environments, ColorVu cameras powered by solar energy from Hikvision equip a photovoltaic panel of 80 watts and a rechargeable lithium battery of 20 Ah.

These new cameras of Hikvision are an ideal video surveillance solution, simple and affordable for use both for isolated or inaccessible environmentss, as farms, pipelines or resorts in the middle of nature, as well as in temporary sites (outdoor sporting events, Events, construction works, Etc.).

The difficulty of guaranteeing security in this type of isolated and eventual environments, where power supplies and Ethernet cables can barely reach, it needs devices that offer an autonomy that makes them operate in a self-sufficient way and adapt to the particularities of this type of facilities.

These new cameras offer the same performance both day and night, as they are equipped with a powerful night vision system thanks to Hikvision's ColorVu technology, ensuring clear, crisp images in extremely dark environments, with up to 8 MP resolution.

Being IP65 water and dust resistant, These devices can withstand extreme adverse weather conditions, as low temperatures, strong winds or torrential rains that often occur in remote areas.

Some ColorVu models feature smart video features: remain alert to security incidents through PIR sensors (passive infrared), motion detection or perimeter protection powered by artificial intelligence and, once configured, can automatically send event-triggered notifications to users' mobile devices.

The AcuSense technology (integrated into select cameras) helps differentiate between people and other moving objects, like animals, falling leaves or heavy rain, which causes false alarms to be minimized and security teams only receive an alert when a real threat occurs.
