Hikvision in Transportation

David Collado, ITS Pre-Sales of Hikvision Iberia, will present a paper on 'Artificial Intelligence applied to transport systems' at this congress that began today and will run until next Thursday.

Today has begun the XXII Spanish Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems, an event in which you participate Hikvisión and that is being developed under the slogan Deployment of ITS to the Recovery Plan, Transformation and Resilience.

Up to the 28 April the hotel Chamartín The One-Estación de Chamartín (Madrid) host this congress, that organizes ITS Spain and that revolves around four axes: Smart Infrastructure (ITS for the management and operation of intercity traffic, for safety and efficiency in the management of road tunnels and for payment for road use); Connected mobility (data and its integration into mobility models, cooperative systems and in-vehicle telematics); Smart cities (digitalisation of urban mobility management, low-emission zones and data and their integration into mobility models); And Digitalisation of payment on public transport (open payments: Contactless EMV, ABT – Account Based Ticketing, transport card virtualization and MaaS).

In this context, Thursday 28 April, among the 9 and the 10.30 Hours, and within the scope of the congress dedicated to ITS for the Management of Public Transport, David Collado, ITS Pre-Sales of Hikvision Iberia, will present his paper on Artificial Intelligence applied to transport systems.

“Artificial intelligence applied in vision systems can play a fundamental role in the digital transformation of passenger transport systems. Today, video analysis systems allow the incorporation of cutting-edge and economical solutions for security management, such as early detection of incidents (physical conflicts, Falls) or agglomerations (people counting and density analysis), as well as the control of fraud in access", explains David.

With these applications, transport infrastructure managers can bring together and converge different subsystems (vigilance, Intrusion, capacity management and incident control) in the same and unique system, through sensors (intelligent video surveillance cameras) non-intrusive and easy to install and maintain.
