The air cargo services firm Aerocharter is currently deploying an intelligent video surveillance system, configured with Dahua Technology, in their 38 centers in Mexico, made up of Bast Solutions.

The company Aerocharter offers technical services in Mexico, operational and commercial aviation support, as cargo services, including handling and storage; supervision and handling of cargo on platform and warehouse, plus ramp operations with loading and unloading options, aircraft movement, Etc.

Dahua AerocharterThis activity required an up-to-date video security system, reliable and that allows to monitor all your processes, protect the integrity of your assets and that of your customers, in addition to tracking in real time the transfer of packages, from pick-up to delivery to the loading area, in the 48 points nationwide where it currently offers its services.

For this project, Aerocharter turned to the security integrator Bast Solutions, that prescribed video security solutions from Dahua, which have now been integrated into 19 of the 38 Aerocharter facilities in the country, as well as in a monitoring center located in Mexico City, in which all information is centrally managed.

As you point out Juan Antonio Alvarez, Managing Director of Bast Solutions, “the use of Dahua's artificial intelligence technology has responded to the needs of Aerocharter, both the part of video surveillance on site and mobile, as in biometric access control, to effectively manage the flow of personnel between the various work areas".

"The installation of the system in nineteen more Aerocharter facilities is still missing," says Álvarez., However, with the results obtained, the client is already thinking about expanding the project, For example, the use of long-range cameras to provide surveillance in areas furthest from airports is being considered”.

Dahua AerocharterDahua's security technology has enabled, according to Aerocharter data, minimize the incidence of loss or theft of goods; in ramp areas, worker productivity has increased, while in disembarkation there is now greater care in the handling of luggage, in addition to reducing the theft of belongings inside the cargo compartment of the aircraft.

In addition, with the solutions access control manufacturer's, Aerocharter now has a real-time record of the flow of personnel in the warehouses, maintenance bases, refraction warehouses and storage areas for valuables.

"As in all major projects, there were some challenges that we managed to solve with the support of the Dahua engineering team, particularly in mobile video surveillance issues, where we achieved excellent results", underlines Juan Antonio Álvarez.
