QNAP Systems QVR DoorAccess has been introduced, an intelligent access control system that works with the company's surveillance applications and QVR Face intelligent facial recognition.

This solution works with QVR surveillance applications and AI image analysis to provide recognition based on biometric data that ensures strict identity authentication.

It also supports real-time recognition of multiple faces, VIP/stranger lists created by the user and entry captures to prevent fraud and improve human resource management. Allows using video playback to review recordings at certain events to ensure safer management.

QVR DoorAccess is an effective replacement for standard contact access control systems, as it offers a centralized management solution that integrates with the QVR ecosystem to protect building and facility entry points”, says Jason Tsai, QNAP Product Manager. QVR DoorAccess includes five management elements: door access controller, doors, users, access rules and access logs, which offers simpler system management.

It is compatible with third-party access control systems (currently supports Hundure series RAC-960 and RAC-2000). Users can also set up a facial database and query recognition history using QVR Face.

The intelligent access control system of QVR DoorAccess is license-based software that can be downloaded from the QNAP Software Store.
