Aerocali, concessionaire company Alfonso Bonilla Aragon International Airport that serves the Colombian city of Cali from the municipality of Palmira, offers flights to 82 international destinations and carries around five million passengers a year.

With this high traffic, it was essential to expand its facilities, with the construction of a new international pier - 19.600 m2 of surface and a platform of 55.000 M², project included the deployment of a video surveillance and access control system to the Terminal 2.

"It was a facility from scratch, because the Terminal 2 it was new and it was necessary to install a security infrastructure according to the times", Jorge Avilés said, commercial director of Ikusi in Colombia, multinational project implementation company, which also covered the update of the access control system.

The installed video surveillance system is concrete in 73 Q-series motion-sensing cameras Hanwha Techwin, specifically the QND-7080R, as well as three cameras. SNP-5321H PTZ type, and seven of the SNP-6321, also PTZ. Added HP redundancy switching servers to the video management system (Vms) of Genetec.

This security infrastructure currently protects all areas of the Terminal 2, with the exception of administrative offices and the perimeter of the runway.
