The LBHA has improved the safety of area residents with the implemented solution, which includes HD Pro cameras, dome and multisensor, as well as the ACC software.

The Long Beach Housing Authority (LBHA) aims to provide quality housing assistance to residents of this area of New York. This is a government-managed public housing project that owns and manages more than 370 affordable rental units.

To improve residents' safety, the LBHA installed a complete surveillance solution based on the technology of Avigilon which includes HD Pro cameras, dome and multisensor, as well as the Control Center video management software (ACC) and its network video recorders.

“We have seen a reduction in 70% crime since the installation of the Avigilon surveillance system. With self-learning video analytics, we get clear and sharp images and can quickly find the evidence we need to help the police in investigations, making our neighborhood a safer place, comment “, said Mike Cruz, director of the Long Beach Housing Authority.
