Mobotix demonstrates the functionalities of its C25 and M16 cameras for the retail and industrial environment

At an event organized by Imaginart, solutions that allow movement detection were showcased, taking advantage of digital signage installations, and they reveal the advantages of the M16's thermographic sensor for industry and the drone market.

Mobotix has shown together with its partner Imaginart, its latest innovations for the retail and industrial sector at an event held under the motto 'New Business Opportunities 2017' which brought together 80 asistentes.

The first solution presented is specifically aimed at the retail sector, and it is a videowall that plays content if it detects any movement nearby. That is to say, when someone passes through a specific area the player triggers audio and displays content on the videowall.

This is achieved through a Mobotix C25 camera, the Proximity Box solution and the camera's motion detection, which controls the contents of a digital signage player connected to a videowall.

Subsequently, Imaginart demonstrated the Mobotix M16 camera with a thermal sensor, ideal for prevention in the industrial sector. It was shown how the camera can trigger an audio alarm through temperature, by lighting a lighter in the area viewed by the thermal sensor.
