Hanwha and Nvidia seek security solutions based on artificial intelligence
Their collaboration will focus on an intelligent video analysis platform, which is currently being developed by Nvidia, and that will be applicable to different Hanwha Techwin solutions such as urban video surveillance, retail or traffic control.
Hanwha Techwin has signed an agreement with Nvidia to reinforce the competitiveness of the products and solutions in its portfolio that use artificial intelligence technology (IA).
Nvidia is a North American company that promotes artificial intelligence technology and produces graphics processing units for computers., autonomous driving robots and cars, through the use of 'Deep Learning' algorithms.
Through this global partnership, both companies are going to collaborate on an intelligent video analysis platform that is currently being developed by Nvidia.
This platform will have artificial intelligence GPUs that use 'Deep Learning' in security devices (cameras, storage media), enabling fast and accurate analysis of video data and providing relevant information to customers.
Hanwha Techwin will focus on developing AI-enabled cameras and storage devices that can detect, autonomously, abnormal movements and situations, Using Nvidia's AI Video Analytics Platform.
Besides, The platform can be applied to various Hanwha Techwin solutions such as urban video surveillance, retail or traffic control.
