Vivotek cameras join Videonetics technology to boost LPR capabilities

With this association, The IP surveillance provider hopes to expand its presence in the traffic management applications market. Videonetics' solutions offer real-time, video analytics processing for the detection and tracking of people and traffic.

Vivotek, has signed an alliance with the video management and analytics software development company, Videonetics, to offer greater license plate recognition capabilities (LPR).

Both companies are working to ensure that users adopt the innovative technology through Videonetics' intelligent traffic management system. A system that is designed to replace manual tracking processes, regulation and analysis of vehicle movement on roads, as well as to enforce traffic rules.

Along with Vivotek IP surveillance cameras, Videonetics offers in real time, video analytics processing for the detection and tracking of people and traffic.

Videonetics' intelligent traffic management solutions portfolio includes tools such as Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and Red Light Violation Detection (RLVD). These are tools suitable for parking management, as well as entry and exit management of vehicles.
