The provider of video surveillance products and solutions, Hikvision, has added to its product catalog the new X54FWD series of WDR 3MP network cameras, which includes dome models for outdoor and indoor, IR bullet type, and cashier, and has added two new cameras and a Plug NVR & Play your HiWatch IP family.

X54FWDHikvision has released a series of WDR 3MP network cameras -the X54FWD series-, to better respond to the growing market demand for high image quality. This series follows the previous addition of the WDR camera series of 1,3 Hikvision megapixels in the second quarter of this year, and continues to expand its WDR HD product portfolio.

La serie X54FWD de cámaras de red WDR 3MP están diseñadas en un algoritmo DSP (Digital Signal Processing) and ISP (Image Signal Processing) improved Hikvision to greatly improve image processing. This WDR operation of the cameras represents an improvement of up to -120dB in the wide dynamic range, maximizing more detail in the bright and dark areas of the field of view.

Images are further enhanced with a 3D DNR function (3D Digital Noise Reduction), which works to greatly reduce noise and motion blur, as well as the resolution of 3 Megapixels and Full HD to ensure exquisite and crystal clear video viewing and playback. As far as the dome and bullet camera models of the X54FWD series are concerned., ADDITIONAL IR LEDs can be incorporated so that products offer optimal quality images in dark conditions, which makes it an ideal solution for day and night surveillance.

Other key features include motorized varifocal lenses (only for dome camera and bullet type camera), which allows the user to adjust the camera via Hikvision's remote zoom, and the Focus option. X54FWD series cameras also benefit from vandal-proof housing and IP66 rating, ensuring maximum protection for outdoor applications.

In addition, the new X54FWD line includes outdoor and indoor dome cameras, IR bullet cameras, and box cameras to provide users with several different options to best suit their specific needs. This X54FWD series of network cameras consists of the following models:

  • Outdoor Network Camera WDR 3MP DS-2CD7254FWD-E(Ⅰ)Z(H)
  • Indoor Dome Camera WDR 3MP DS-2CD754FWD-E(Ⅰ)(Z)
  • Bullet type camera WDR IR 3MP DS-2CD8254FWD-EI(Z)
  • WDR 3MP Box Type Network Camera DS-2CD854FWD-E(W)

New addition to the HiWatch IP solution

Hikvision has also added three new HD networking products to its HiWatch product portfolio.. These include the IR mini-bullet camera of 1,3 MP DS-2CD2012-I, The outdoor IR mini-dome camera 1,3 MP DS-2CD2112-I and a recording device: the Plug Embedded NVR & Play DS-7600NI-SE. Hikvision's HiWatch Series targets a broad portfolio of surveillance solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. These new HiWatch IP products are cost-effective, and still benefit users with high quality monitoring, ease of use and ease of installation, being the perfect choice for home and surveillance companies.

Both cameras, DS-2CD2012-I and DS-I-2CD2112, feature compact designs, better low-light performance and efficient coding capability. Equipped with 30 LEDs IR, both cameras are capable of delivering excellent powerful video images with visibility up to 30 meters in a completely dark environment. Images are further enhanced with 3D DNR (3D Digital Noise Reduction), which works to greatly reduce noise and motion blur, as well as WDR functionality to ensure image clarity in high-light contrast environments. In addition, these two new IP models have been developed based on Hikvision's latest platform for network cameras that offer greater compression efficiency (approximately one 30% and a 50% above traditional network cameras). This significantly reduces the load of transmitting video and storage information in both IP surveillance systems.. In addition, these two new cameras are IP66 rated for outdoor applications, while the DS-2CD2112-I also incorporates a vandal-proof housing.

These two new HiWatch IP cameras are equipped with PoE, while the Plug Embedded NVR & Play DS-7600NI-SE supports up to four independent PoE network interfaces and auto-discovers connected IP cameras for IP address self-assignment. Through the simple act of connecting a cable on a network interface, the IP address of the cameras is automatically configured to transmit live signal and stored video. Moreover, NVR supports HDMI and VGA output at up to 1920x1080p resolution, which benefits users with display of high-definition video images. Built-in with customization of video information tags, This NVR also allows users complete control over their systems to locate major events more efficiently. The DS-7600NI-SE (/ Q) supports HDD quota management for video storage optimization, And 2 SATA hard drives that have capacity up to 4 TB each.

In turn, Three new HD networking products support open protocols to extend integration with other devices. DS-2CD2012-I and DS-2CD2112-I are ONVIF compliant, PSIA and CGI, while the DS-7600NI-SE (/ Q) is compatible with third-party network cameras, to offer versatile solutions for different surveillance needs.

One step forward, Hikvision will continue to enrich its HiWatch range with high-quality products, que van desde gestión de vídeo IP la vanguardia hasta los sistemas analógicos tradicionales, to provide optimised surveillance systems that respond to the specific needs of small and medium-sized enterprises, such as retail stores, hotels and medium-sized industry sectors, among many other application scenarios.
