Schneider Electric announces new Pelco Spectra HD dome positioning system 1080

Schneider Electric has announced the launch of its new high-speed Pelco Spectra HD dome positioning system 1080, with megapixel resolution 2.0 (1920×1080 at 30 IPS), and Sarix technology to deliver high image quality. This fully digital system offers the look and feel of traditional Spectra series domes, taking video quality to a whole new level.

Schneider Electric has added to its portfolio its new Spectra HD dome positioning system 1080 of Pelco by Schneider Electric, which offers a clearer image with higher resolution without sacrificing low-light or programmable performance. The Spectra line has been a cornerstone of security programs for nearly 20 years, delivering great reliability, direction/control and image quality technology.

Designed for security professionals who demand the best in image quality, Spectra HD 1080 from Pelco, built on the Sarix technology platform, it is a fully digital system that offers megapixel resolution 2.0, high-profile H.264 compression and built-in analytics.

The main features of the new Spectra HD system 1080 include:

• The best image quality: The Spectra HD 1080 delivers the clearest possible images with its Exmor CMOS camera of 1/2.8 inches with a built-in 20x optical zoom lens, providing megapixel resolution 2.0 (1920×1080 at 30 IPS).
The optically perfect dome provides defect-free image quality across the entire system's field of view.
• Built-in analytics: The Spectra HD system 1080 comes with a set of advanced analysis tools built into the camera system, including Object Tracking, which allows users to define the size of the object of interest and track the subject through rotation of 360 camera degrees. Other analysis tools included are Abandoned Object, Adaptive Motion, Camera Tampering, Directional Motion, Loitering Detection, Object Counting, Object Removal and the Parked Vehicle.
