Bosch Security Systems has announced that its Blue Line Gen series motion detectors 2, Professional Series and its DS938Z detectors, DS9360, DS939s that are installed on the roof as well as the OD850 outdoor detectors already comply with the new version of european EN regulations 50130-4:2011 for fire detection system components, Intrusion, robbery, Cctv, access control and social alarm systems.

Starting in the summer of 2014, all motion detection products manufactured in the European Common Market must comply with the new version of European EN rules 50130-4:2011. Two years earlier than established, Bosch Security Systems announced that its Blue Line Gen series motion detectors 2, Professional Series and its DS938Z detectors, DS9360, DS939 that are installed on the roof as well as the OD850 outdoor detectors already meet these requirements. Compliance with the latest version of the regulations ensures that these Bosch motion detectors will continue to provide greater immunity against false alarms.

EN regulations 50130-4:2011 is a standard of "Electromagnetic Compatibility" (Emc) which applies to alarm systems inside and outside buildings in commercial environments, industrial and residential. EMC regulations aim to ensure that equipment or systems function properly when there is electromagnetic interference (Emi). The band of irradiated field frequencies to which devices now have to be immune has been expanded, so that these devices are certified according to this standard. The previous generation of regulations required immunity in the 80 MHz to 2,0 Ghz. The latest version of the regulation extends this frequency band to 2,7 Ghz. The regulations are designed to take into account the increase in electromagnetic interference in buildings caused by the proliferation of devices operating in this new frequency band, such as Wi-Fi or mobile phones.

Blue Line Gen motion detectors 2 provide an area of coverage without gaps in 12 X 12 meters from wall to wall. Thanks to first-step processing, detectors can differentiate between human and non-human targets, for example pets. Professional Series Intrusion Detectors with Sensor Data Fusion Technology (Sdf) can process up to five sensors before making the decision to trigger the alarm. This improves your recruitment performance in a 35 percent versus traditional motion detectors. Los detectores son adecuados para distintas aplicaciones como almacenes, clothing stores, official buildings and large offices. "By making motion detectors immune against electromagnetic interference caused by wireless systems, we guarantee high reliability and immunity against the false alarms of our detectors, what benefits installers and end customers", commented Gerhard Kugler, Product Marketing Manager at Bosch Security Systems.
