The Italian city of Mira chooses Radwin solutions for its video surveillance network

The City Hall of the Italian city of Mira has implemented Radwin's wireless systems for high-quality video transmission in order to improve public safety.

The City Hall of Mira in Venice (Italia) has deployed the wireless solutions of Radwin, global provider of wireless broadband and backhaul solutions, for a city-wide video surveillance network. Radwin systems 2000 offer high resolution, real-time video from cameras located throughout the city that communicate with the city hall operations center.

Mira's wireless video surveillance network, which is based on Radwin technology, It has provided the operations center staff and the police department with a real-time video system for effective detection and immediate response to violent acts, as well as a traffic monitoring solution. The Italian integrator Teletrónica has taken charge of the project.

Enzo Serpani, coordinator of Mira's video surveillance project, has stated on behalf of the city council that 'Radwin systems have allowed us to deploy a very sophisticated video surveillance network that transmits video from multiple cameras located in parks, schools, shopping centers and highways.
