Dallmeier's Panomera cameras secure the Veronafiere fairgrounds

The security of the entire exterior area of this Italian fairground is ensured with just a few cameras Panometer from the German manufacturer Dallmeier, thanks to its precise sensor system, high image quality and its ability to monitor long distances.

Located in the center of the Italian city of Verona, the international group Veronafiere has been organizing since 1898 fairs and events 'connecting people, nations, and diverse companies', as they point out, with an average of 35 exhibitions and 50 conferences per year, which attract about 800.000 visitors.

To guarantee the security of the exterior areas of the new Gallerie Mercatali in Verona, this fair organizer has once again trusted the technology of the German manufacturer Dallmeier to install a video surveillance system with its cameras Panometer.

This trust in Dallmeier dates back to the year 2016, when to ensure greater safety for visitors, exhibitors and operators of the assembly areas, Veronafiere installed a system composed of fifteen Panomera cameras.

In 2021, this Dallmeier video surveillance system was expanded to the spaces of the Gallerie Mercatali of Verona, transformed by Veronafiere after its restoration into additional exhibition and meeting areas serving companies and the city.

'The purpose of the video system is to minimize the risks of vandalism, theft and unauthorized access, even when fairs or events are not taking place. At the same time, Veronafiere wanted to monitor the adjacent parking area, explains Simone Sterza, systems engineer of the integrating company Italsicurezza, which collaborates with Dallmeier.

Desde la primera instalación y hasta la actualidad, las cámaras Dallmeier captan las zonas exteriores de la Gallerie Mercatali con la resolución especificada en el concurso, que Italsicurezza la definió con precisión para los 10.625 m² de superficie con la herramienta de planificación del fabricante alemán.

La integración de las nuevas cámaras y el servidor de grabación IPS 10000 en el sistema Dallmeier ya existente también fue muy sencilla.
