Securitas Direct PreSense

ProSense technology integrates detection devices, artificial intelligence, Big Data, IoT and predictive models. This solution increases detection and verification capability, providing an extra layer of protection and reducing reaction to risky situations.

Securitas Direct has launched PreSense a platform designed for a new generation of alarms, integrating detection devices, artificial intelligence, Big Data, IoT and predictive models that detect potential intrusions and emergencies sooner and better.

This technology allows to generate data models that are used to predict risk levels before an alarm jump. In this way, the company provides an extra layer of protection, reducing detection and verification times to less than 20 Seconds.

"The inclusion of predictive models and Artificial Intelligence, as well as the intelligent analysis of images recorded in high definition, it has allowed us to take a big step forward in terms of anticipation", Says Angel Piorno, R&D Director at Securitas Direct.

The generation of alarms that houses this new PreSense technology includes advanced detection devices such as photodetectors, that provide faster verification thanks to images in high resolution five times better or night vision with a powerful light focus, to distinguish, even at night if it is an intruder or, For example, a pet, which prevents false alarm jumps.

In addition, features cameras with intelligent image analysis, continuous recording and cloud storage, which in addition to strengthening security, provides a better user experience that can control the alarm system from anywhere to monitor everything that happens in the home or business from the smart mobile app.

"Our system obtains information through the devices on an ongoing basis, even in a state of disarming, that allows to perform a data modeling of the client's use and apply predictive analysis. In this way, usage patterns are generated, which are used when making an automatic decision in mitigating risks or triggering the alarm.", adds Piorno.

PreSense integrates IoT that allows all devices to be connected and have more agile connections with higher resolution: 4G mobile network, Internet (Wifi/Ethernet), ATN network and encrypted communication protocols that make it more secure against hacking attempts.

International project starting in Spain

The PreSense technology is the result of a project to which the company has devoted several years of research and has been developed by a multidisciplinary team of 550 experts from 8 different markets.

For its development, Securitas Direct has developed pilot projects in Spain, France and the United Kingdom, in order to ensure the excellence of the final product.

Spain has been chosen for the exclusive launch of this new generation of alarms, demonstrating the importance of the country with its extraordinary performance and trajectory, as it also houses one of the largest innovation hubs of the Verisure group.
