The acquisition of Videotec complements the line of fixed camcorders of Motorola Solutions, expanding its portfolio and strengthening its position in the video security market.

Motorola Solutions has announced the acquisition of the Italian provider of video security solutions Videotec.

Videotec's PTZ panoramic and fixed cameras are designed to withstand extreme conditions and hazardous critical infrastructure environments, specifically ports, and energy and transport companies, where video security is a must.

Its solutions enable security operators to have clear visibility into these configurations to detect and respond to abnormal events or dangerous situations., reducing security threats and supporting business continuity.
