Milestone Systems bets on Sicur 2022 for the Iberian market
In its participation in Sicur 2022, the company offers a complete solution based on its powerful open-platform VMS, with the presentation of XProtect Rapid Review, as well as its commitment to the Iberian market with the opening of an Experience Center in Madrid.
Present at the space of its distributor EET (pavilion 10 – stand E15), Milestone explained to Digital Security Magazine the strategy that the company will develop in the Iberian market, focused on extending the numerous and powerful possibilities offered by its management platform XProtect beyond traditional security systems.
With the denomination of Beyond security, those responsible for developing this ambitious strategy in Spain and Portugal of Milestone Systems, Adán Bastos, key account manager Iberia, and JJaime Durban, vertical specialist EMEA, together with Ivan Piergallini, sales manager Italy, Iberia, Southern Europe and DACH, analyze how they will carry out this development in collaboration with their technology partners.
For this, the company already has offices in Barcelona and Madrid, with the news that in the latter they are finalizing the launch of a Experience and training center, in which with the technology of our partners and our VMS we will give meaning to a real integration, since the capabilities offered by our video management software provide valuable and tangible business benefits to many vertical sectors, assures Jaime Durban.
The company's growth objectives in Iberia are no less ambitious: tripling the revenue of 2020 in the next five years, as Adán Bastos emphasizes, something that at first is dizzying, but taking into account the company's double-digit global growth and its clear strategy, with real synergies with our partners, we will be able to achieve, since he 50% of the revenue in 2025 will be generated outside the security sector.
Beyond security
The opening to vertical markets is based on the possibilities of management and data collection (from cameras and other sources), storage and organization provided by its VMS, whose analysis allows identifying everything in a scene, discovering new elements as they appear in the same scene and even predicting the behavior of people captured on video.
The retail sectors, logistics and transportation, just as smart cities can benefit from this potential. En el primer caso, the VMS not only contributes to the prevention of theft and the protection of people, but also helps retailers capture and understand valuable business data, such as the number of people in the store, their path and product points of interest within the establishment, etc. and each piece of data can be captured on video and later analyzed to be proactive in the shopping experience and increase sales and more, points out Durbán.
The benefits for the transportation and logistics sectors are also clear to reduce, For example, truck and warehouse loads with live and recorded video, real-time data, analytical alerts, asset tracking across all elements of the supply chain, etc.
XProtect Rapid Review
At the event, Milestone presents at the EET wholesaler space its advanced forensic analysis solution XProtect Rapid Review, with which it is possible to review, search and analyze videos quickly and accurately.
