Hanwha Wisenet Q

The range of PTZ dome cameras Hanwha Wisenet Q has been expanded with four new exterior and interior models of 2 Mp, with zoom of 25 and 32x.

Hanwha Techwin has strengthened its range of economical cameras Wisenet Q with the introduction of four new PTZ domes of 2 Megapixels for indoor and outdoor. These devices are equipped with a number of innovative features such as Focus Save, that can be applied to 32 predefined zones and ensures that they can focus quickly when moving to a specific position.

Accurate PTZ control can be achieved with the help of 'click and drag' function, which allows operators to use the mouse to quickly move the camera to a new position and the 'click to center' function, that focuses cameras on a specific area of interest within the field of view. Zoom function with mouse scroll wheel allows operators to zoom in to the scene to see any suspicious activity or incident.

In addition, can be overlaid up to 12 custom direction indicators, for example 'to the car park' or 'main exit', in a field of view to help operators, who may not be familiar with the location they are monitoring, to decide where to direct the vision of the cameras.

Among the novelties presented are two indoor PTZ domes (QNP-6320 with 32x zoom and QNP-6250 with 25x zoom) and two outdoor (QNP-6320h with 32x zoom and QNP-6250H with 25x zoom).

Outdoor models have high protection against rain and snow. This is because, unlike conventional PTZ domes, which may require up to 5 separate cables, only one RJ45 cable is needed to operate. In addition to minimizing the possibility of water damage, this also makes its installation quick and easy, thanks to the installation function 'combine' 3 dots and rotate'.

These cameras are capable of 'transferring control' to other cameras that cover adjacent areas, so that operators will be able to continue to observe people or vehicles as they move out of the PTZ dome's field of view.

Digital image stabilization (Dis) with integrated gyroscopic sensors is activated when a disturbance occurs in the chamber due to wind or vibrations. This offers more stable images, while compensating for shutter effects.

A Micro SD card slot allows you to store video or data in the camera itself if there is an interruption in the network. Until 256 GB of video that might have been lost, can be recovered when the network connection is restored.

Among other features also highlights the inclusion of Power over Ethernet (PoE+), which eliminates the need to install separate power supplies and wiring for the camera.

Moreover, when connected to QNP-6250H and QNP-6320H models, an optional I/O module (Wisenet SPM-421) Provides 4 alarm inputs/outputs or 1 audio port and 2 alarm inputs/outputs.

In addition to the new models, Hanwha Techwin has announced that it also intends to introduce two more Wisenet PTZ domes from the Q range soon.. Both will have integrated infrared LEDs that will illuminate objects located at a distance of up to one hundred meters from the cameras..
