Hanwha Wisenet Pentabrid

Video recorders Hanwha Wisenet Pentabrid of 4, 8 And 16 channels offer a simple migration path from existing analog CCTV systems to a video surveillance solution based on IP networks.

Hanwha Techwin just launched the video recorders Wisenet Pentabrid, designed to extend the life of existing analog CCTV systems and, at the same time, offer a simple and economical migration path towards a video surveillance solution based on IP networks.

The new Wisenet Pentabrid video recorders from 4, 8 And 16 channels allow you to connect any combination of analog or IP cameras with resolution up to 4K. Using software, users can convert any channel from analog to ip, when necessary.

This line is available in four models: two with four channels, one with an Internal SATA hard drive (Wisenet HRX-434) and another with two (Wisenet HRX-435): a third with 8 channels and four internal Sata hard drives (Wisenet HRX-835) and a room with the same storage and 16 Channels (Wisenet HRX-1632). Each hard drive has a maximum capacity of 6 Tb.

These teams, that comply with the Onvif profile S standard and replace existing Pentabrid devices that do not support NDAA, offer a long list of practical functions, as the double track recording, the output of multiple monitors and the ability to create groups of users.

They also support a wide range of intelligent video analytics including audio detection, Faces, Blur, in and out, and camera tamper detection, to initiate a variety of actions when an event occurs: move a PTZ camera to a preset position or automatically send email alerts to specified personnel, as well as directly to the Wisenet mobile app.

Simple setup

Installation time is minimized thanks to technicians using P2P and QR product codes to remotely connect to video recorders using a smarphone or tablet, without having to set up a complex network. Video recorders can also be configured with the help of an intuitive interface and an installation wizard.

Operators can take full advantage of NVR functionality with the help of UX 2.0, a new user interface that offers the option to zoom, drag-and-drop, as well as a timeline preview function. In addition, allows editing of all event settings in a single window.

Security personnel can apply bookmarks to prevent important videos from being overwritten and NVRs can be programmed to automatically remove the marked video after a defined period of time, in order to ensure compliance with the GDPR.

"These NDAA video recorders have been developed to support the countless existing legacy analog systems that are still in use", explains Uri Guterman, Product and marketing director at Hanwha Techwin Europe. “In addition to being able to record images captured by Wisenet cameras that are transmitted without latency at distances of up to 500 Meters, via standard coaxial cable, will help facilitate the transition to a pure Wisenet IP video surveillance solution when the end user wishes to do so and, if necessary, will support cameras from selected other manufacturers.".
