Georgetown secures its educational centers with a joint solution from Motorola and Avigilon
The School District of this County has installed a complete video surveillance and critical communications security solution, comprised of more than a thousand cameras and Avigilon's Control Center software, as well as Motorola Solutions' XPR 3500e radio system.
The Georgetown County School District (Georgetown County School District – GCSD) in South Carolina has opted for the solutions of Motorola y Avigilon to optimize area security.
Serving more than 9.500 students in its 10 elementary schools, four middle schools, four high schools, a higher education center and another for adults, the GCSD sought a solution that would allow it to increase security, at the same time that it was easy to use both for school administrators and for monitoring officials.
With this objective, a comprehensive Avigilon system was implemented that includes more than a thousand cameras, including the H4A bullet, with self-learning video analytics, and the H4 Mini Dome and H4 Fisheye. These devices have helped achieve a customized solution, adapted to each location, and have allowed school security operators to take advantage of the benefits of real-time analytics.
The Avigilon Control Center management software has also been implemented to provide a more efficient way to manage images and videos from a central location.
GCSD also uses Motorola Solutions' XPR 3500e radio systems at its locations.
