Eocortex Safe City joins Aryan's security business proposal
The wholesaler expands its portfolio with this modular intelligent video analysis solution, whose aim is to meet the security needs in cities.
The wholesaler's Industry and CCTV division Aryan will be responsible for marketing in the Spanish market the Safe City solution developed by Eocortex, a specialist in professional video surveillance software, for cities that have control and video surveillance centers, which consists of a complete package of intelligent modules that aim to address security issues.
This solution includes video analysis modules, such as abandoned object detection, crowd monitoring, suspect search, facial and license plate recognition, inter alia, which guarantee a high level of security for citizens and help prevent various offenses.
One of Safe City's differentiating elements is responding to the demand from city control and video surveillance centers to immediately receive notifications of incidents from their own CCTV system on monitors, videowall, email and phones, functionality also integrated into all solutions developed by Eocortex.
The Belgian city of Ronse as an example
As Óscar Rute points out, director of the CCTV division at Aryan, 'an example of the good performance and integration capability of this solution is the Belgian city of Ronse'. In the year 2012 This city, with a population of 25.000 inhabitants, had an issue with increasing vandalism activity, so it decided to create a video surveillance system to enhance security.
In this sense, the first surveillance cameras, supplied by the local company Visuatech, were installed and integrated by the specialist RTS in areas with high traffic in that city, such as the football stadium, the train station, and the main square.
Since then, its Police Department has seen a decrease in crime in practically all areas of the city, attributing this result to the fact that the video surveillance system allows violations to be detected and prevents them from spreading, explains Rute.
The images from the cameras, around thirty devices controlled by Eocortex software, se transmiten a la sede de la policía de Ronse, “donde los operadores monitorizan diariamente las calles, plazas y espacios públicos de la ciudad y hace que los ciudadanos se sientan seguros y protegidos”.
