New fixed dome and bullet cameras incorporate Essential Video Analytics that lets you understand what you're seeing, generating metadata to add meaning and structure to the video.

Bosch Flexidome and Dinion IP

Bosch has incorporated fixed dome network video cameras into its network (Flexidome) and bullet (Dinion) IP 4000i, IP 5000i and IP 6000i Essential Video Analytics functionality as standard feature. This allows them to understand what they're seeing, generating metadata to add meaning and structure to the video.
Instead of capturing and storing only data, metadata can now be used in conjunction with video footage to improve your level of security and make smarter business decisions using a wealth of statistics.

To further improve security, these smart cameras enable advanced intrusion detection, allowing users to set one or more alarm rules in parallel, only getting alerts when needed.

The ability of cameras to interpret what they see helps add meaning and structure to video data using metadata. The data is enriched with numerous statistics, like color details, and the guy, the speed and direction of moving objects in a scene.

The standard forensic search feature provided with Essential Video Analytics uses metadata, allowing hours of recorded video data to pass in seconds. By allowing users to interpret the data directly at the source, these can be reassigned to make smarter business decisions.

Vertical markets

blankIn the retail business environment, 4000i IP cameras, IP 5000i and IP 6000i can collect statistics such as the number of people entering or leaving a store, or identify patterns in customer activity to optimize store designs, improve customer experiences and increase sales.

Another example of how cameras take analysis beyond mere safety applications is helping to enforce health and safety standards in commercial buildings, Shops, warehouses and industrial facilities. Through video analysis, automatic alarms can be triggered when something is blocking emergency exits, when forklifts are driving in the wrong direction or when unauthorized vehicles are parked in areas “no parking”, as cargo zones.

Features

blank4000i IP cameras, 5000i and 6000i are available in a variety of resolutions, From 720 Until 5 Megapixel, with frame speeds of up to 60 Fps.

Even in challenging lighting conditions, Dinion IP starlight 6000i bullet camera provides clear and detailed color images thanks to Bosch's Starlight technology. This opens up the camera's full video analysis capability, like color filtering, even in scenes with minimal ambient light, to improve security and offer new application opportunities. For the most efficient data management, 4000i IP cameras, 5000i and 6000i offer intelligent dynamic noise reduction and intelligent transmission.

As silent scenes with little or no movement require a lower bit rate, Intelligent camera bitrate techniques distinguish between image noise and relevant information, like movement. This helps keep video data manageable, while reducing storage and network voltage requirements.

In combination with the latest H.265 video compression, cameras can reduce bit rates by up to a 80%. In the event that a legacy system is not yet H.265 compliant, new IP cameras ensure backward compatibility by supporting legacy H.264 systems.
