Dallmeier has released its new VMC-2 Video Management Center designed for the control of video systems. A solution that stands out for its ergonomic and intelligent design and is integrated by a touch screen, a joystick and a jog-shuttle.

Individual components are modular and flexible, allowing them to be positioned freely, being equally suitable for left-handed and right-handed. They can also be used as stand-alone devices. The VMC-2 is compatible with SeMSy III management systems and tested according to DIN EN 50130-4.

With the joystick, the operator can control the mobile cameras comfortably. Turning movements, tilt and zoom can be done intuitively. With a single click on the joystick button, the camera automatically moves to its starting position. Changing the mode, can be used as a mouse making it easier to operate the menu.

Touchscreen makes multi-touch control easy and convenient. Intuitive graphical user interface allows security operator, activating live streams or precise control of PTZ cameras. Recording playback control is fully supported as is the activation of backups. Additionally, you can use an extended snapshot feature for individual marks and comments directly on the image.

Finally,, the jog-shuttle is ideal for finding certain images in a video stream. Turning the central jog-dial, the safety operator can move through individual frames. By moving the shuttle-ring circularly, scenes can be reproduced later at different speeds back and forth.
