Vivotek takes IP video surveillance to a new level with its range of H.265 solutions
The new line of Vivotek H.265 solutions includes V-Pro cameras from 3 y 5 MP, the NVRs ND9541 and ND9441, of 32 y 16 channels respectively, and the version 1.11 of the VMS VAST software. It has also introduced Smart Stream II intelligent flow technology, which reduces bandwidth and meets storage requirements.
Vivotek has presented a new line of surveillance solutions with H.265/HEVC encoding, which includes network cameras from 3 y 5 Megapixels, network video recorders (NVR) and professional VMS (video management software).
It has also introduced Smart Stream II intelligent flow technology that, combined with H.265 compression, allows reducing bandwidth and responding to storage requirements. According to Vivotek, these benefits could increase by up to a 80% more than what systems using H.264 offered.
“The Smart Stream II technology can optimize resolutions for a designated object or area and maximize bandwidth usage efficiency. Combining H.265 and Smart Stream II, we can offer the most efficient system”, explains Tim Su, Marketing Director of the company.
H.265 V-Pro Cameras
For this new line of solutions, Vivotek has developed the range of H.265 V-Pro network cameras consisting of different models of 3 y 5 MP. Equipped with SNV technology (Supreme Night Visibility) and WDR Pro, these systems guarantee high-quality images in any lighting condition.
Box-type models have a Gigabit Ethernet port, instant photo focus functions with faster data transmission and precise focusing capability, even for objects that are moving quickly.
For harsh environments, specially designed for outdoor use, Vivotek has designed vandal-proof bullet network cameras that are built to be weather-resistant with IP66 rating and vandal-proof cover with IK10 rating, offering a wide temperature range from -50°C to 50°C.
H.265 network video recorder
