In the last few days, Canon has signed agreements with Digiever and DiiD to expand its catalog of video surveillance solutions and strengthen its distribution network in Spain and Portugal. It will also allow you to gain a greater presence in the education and retail sector.

Digiever

Canon has signed a collaboration with Digiever, provider of world-class IP video surveillance solutions and network video players (Nvr), to bring to a wider spectrum of customers its wide range of high-quality security cameras.

"At Canon we are always looking for new ways to increase the added value we offer our customers, and we do it by working with our technology partners. Integration with Digiever will allow us to expand the scope of our offering in Europe with simple and cost-effective security solutions", explains Julian Rutland, Director of Planning and Strategy at Canon Europe.

Canon's full range of video surveillance cameras will be backed by Digiever's NVR equipment offering, including the DS-8200-RM Pro families, DS-4200-RM Pro, DS-4200 Pro, DS-2100 Pro, DS-1100 Pro and DS-4000 and DS-2000. Digiever NVR family support will benefit end users interested in small, cost-effective installations, specially designed for indoor spaces in sectors such as retail and education.

The range of networked video players will support Canon's full HD ultra-compact full-series video surveillance camera family, which includes features such as detecting moving objects. Digiever also supports the VB-H IP camera range, including built-in analytics to detect moving or abandoned objects, as well as the disappearance of objects, camera manipulation or intrusions.
